Advanced Safety

With over 25 years of digital sensor experience, the KODAK 9000 3D System delivers images at a higher resolution per radiation dose than other 3D systems. When combined with this superior sensor technology, the system's confined region of interest provides a 3D radiation dose similar to that of a panoramic exam—translating to a safe environment for your staff and patients.

Easy and Stable Positioning

The unit's open, face-to-face design makes patient positioning quick and simple. Two laser beams help adjust the patient appropriately, while a chin rest, lateral holders and bite block ensure patient stability. In addition, the KODAK 9000 3D System accommodates all body types and is easily accessible to wheelchairs, making exams more comfortable for patients.

Space-saving design

The KODAK 9000 3D System requires the same space as a standard panoramic unit, thereby reducing your need for room modifications.

Ease of operation

With the KODAK 9000 3D System, you just select the 2D or 3D program you want and the machine automatically utilizes the correct sensor—no manual intervention required.

Easy-to-learn software

Since the KODAK 9000 3D System is controlled by the same imaging software as all of our systems, it requires very little training and easily integrates into your practice—saving you time and helping to improve your productivity.

Testimonials

" The KODAK 9000 3D System has widely enlarged the scope of my radiographic equipment. I don’t know how I could do without 3D imaging today. The advantages of a 2-in-1 system that combines traditional panoramic radiography and 3D imaging are more than advantages—they are absolute necessities. I cannot conceive of one without the other."
—Dr. Jean-Yves Doukhan, Ph.D, DDS, Paris (France), Professor at the University of Paris VII

“The KODAK 9000 3D System provides an affordable, easy-to use ‘three-in-one’ solution, combining focused-field 3D with true panoramic and cephalometric imaging. The system delivers very high resolution 3D images with the detail required even in endodontic applications. Combined with its very low dose to patients, it is an essential contribution to dentistry.”
—Prof. Dr. U. J. Rother, Imaging Diagnosis of Facial Bones, Hamburg, Germany

“The KODAK 9000 3D system can be considered a unique category of 3D imaging system. It combines the advantages of high-resolution, low dose, limited volume 3D imaging at an affordable price.”
—Allan G. Farman, BDS, PhD, DSc, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, Louisville, Kentucky

"In terms of examination in endodontics, the [KODAK 9000 3D] system has significantly improved my practice in three areas: the initial endodontic treatment, retreatment of canals and endodontic surgery..."
—Dr. Jean-Philippe Mallet, Ph.D, DDS, Paris (France), Vice President of the French Endodontics Society

Software

The Kodak 9000 3D system includes comprehensive dental imaging software, performing both 2D and 3D imaging. Its 3D module is versatile, simple, and effective, integrating all the essential functions: measurement, multiplanar review, 3D volume review, and orthogonal viewing to name but a few.

The software comes standard with an implant planning module to spot exact implant placement, to take measurements (both distances and angles), and to mark the mandibular canal. It also allows you to choose the size and shape of implants in order to create a simulation that's as close to reality as possible.

3D volumes can be exported to other software for implant planning or any DICOM compatible software. To further simplify sharing of results, you can also easily make print-outs and lightweight screen captures that are effortlessly managed and transmitted.

As the system is controlled by the same Kodak dental imaging software used for all of your Kodak digital imaging systems, it’s easier to learn to operate and simpler to integrate into your practice. You’ll save time and gain in productivity.
