MICROSOFT SQL 2005 database
When you install ORTHOTRAC software version 11.0, the Access databases are converted to SQL Server databases.
Customized views in the Treatment Card
When you have your tabs displayed as you like them, you can save the settings so the Treatment Card will always display in that configuration in the future on that machine.
New “Notes” tab in the Charting Module
A Notes tab has been added to the Charting Module, replacing the Notes section that was previously located on the TxCard tab. The Notes tab enables you to include more note content in a patient’s chart and features several enhancements for manipulating text, such as font, size, text color, and so on.
Drag and drop scheduling with optional clipboard
The Scheduling feature has been enhanced to enable you to drag a scheduled appointment with the mouse and drop it to a new schedule day. Drag-and-drop scheduling can be used in several ways:
- If your office has a dual-monitor setup, you can open a different schedule day on both monitors and drag the appointment from one monitor (or scheduler page) to the other.
- Using one monitor, you can open the scheduler, minimize the window, open another instance of the scheduler for a different day, and drag the appointment from one scheduler day to another.
- You can display a space on the scheduler – called the clipboard – where you can temporarily drag the scheduled appointment. Then you can select a new day in the scheduler and drag the appointment from the clipboard to the new schedule day.
Appointment information tool tip
When you move your cursor over a patient appointment in the Zoom or View scheduler mode, the appointment date and patient home phone are now available in the tool tip.
Printing time left on excuse notes – A Time Left field containing the time the patient left the office has been added to the Print Appointment Ticket window. When you select the School Excuse or Work Excuse checkbox, the Time Left text box displays the time the appointment ended. You can edit the time, if necessary, and the time is printed on the ticket.
New referral reports
Three reports have been added to the software:
- Wilting Referral Report – Shows the decline in patient referrals from outside doctors.
- Referrals Out Report – Shows the patients referred out to doctors for a specific date range.
- Future Patient Age Report – Shows future patients (non-patient family members of existing patients) who will be a certain age in a specified month and year.
View archived schedule days
The scheduler has been enhanced to enable you to view archived schedule days. In previous versions of the software, the scheduler displayed only scheduled appointments. Now the scheduler displays completed and no-show appointments. If you are viewing a schedule day that has already passed, the scheduler is displayed in gray colors, indicating an archived day.
