 Rita Bauer |
Ms. Rita Bauer is the Digital Education Media Specialist at the University of Toronto where she produces lecture material for the Faculty of Dentistry. She divides her time between the University and lecturing internationally, and with over 600 presentations and workshops on the subject she has become recognized as a leading authority on integrating digital photography in the dental office.
Known for providing practical, relevant information in a dynamic and enthusiastic manner, Rita's specialty is taking the mystery out of this new technology. She will inspire you and your team to embrace digital photography.
She has received Honorary Memberships as a Fellow of the International College of Dental Surgeons and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.

 James Cathcart |
James Cathcart joined the Franklin Covey Company in 1994. Since then, he has worked with corporate, educational, government, military and not-for-profit organizations in an effort to help them grow their businesses, achieve their objectives and enhance the quality of life of their employees. Previously, Cathcart has been a stand-up comedian, high-school teacher and Manager of Security for the Utah Transit Authority. He has also lived in South Africa and traveled the world extensively. Cathcart received his education in sociology and organizational behavior from Brigham Young University.

 Dr. David Gane |
Dr. Gane is a graduate of the University of Western
Ontario with an honors degree in physiology and a doctorate degree in dental surgery. Dr. Gane has authored many publications and technique videos on digital radiography and has lectured internationally on digital imaging topics including full day programs at
Tufts University and the Goldman Dental School at Boston University. Dr. Gane has acted in the capacity as consultant to a number of universities and corporations and currently serves as Vice President of Digital Imaging for Kodak's Dental Systems Group.

 Dr. James Mah, DDS, MSc, MRCD, DMSc

Dr. James Mah is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. At USC he is the Director of Redmond Imaging Center and the Director of the Craniofacial Virtual Reality Laboratory. The Redmond Imaging Center operates a cone beam CT (CBCT) and provides services to dentists within USC and outside as well. His research has been focused on creating virtual 3-dimensional craniofacial patients upon which diagnosis, treatment planning and simulations can be performed. Dr. Mah obtained his Bachelor of Science, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master of Science degrees and his Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics from the University of Alberta, Canada. Following that, he graduated from Harvard Medical School with a Doctorate of Medical Science degree and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedics at Children's Hospital, Boston. He was a full-time faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine prior to his current positions. Dr. Mah has authored over 50 publications, 4 textbooks, several book chapters and has made over 80 presentations nationally and internationally.
Dr. Mah is a recognized expert in 3-Dimensional imaging, visualization and modeling. His work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, The National Post, Tech TV, and other magazines and journals. His research laboratory is funded by grants from the National Institutes of Dental and Craniofacial Research, National Science Foundation, McAlister Foundation, California Wellness Foundation, the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation, Sun Microsystems, and a number of industry partners. He is also a founder of the Conferences on Orthodontic Advances in Science and Technology and an organizer of the Biological Mechanisms of Tooth Movement conference series. He serves as an editor for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Korean Orthodontic Journal, the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, & Endodontics and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology.

 Dr. Mike Malone |
Dr. Mike Malone graduated with a Master’s degree from Louisiana Tech University and received his dental degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1976. He then served three years in the Air Force Dental Corps before returning to Louisiana to establish a private general practice in New Iberia, LA. Dr. Malone’s commitment to excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry started early with extensive continuing education with his primary mentors: L. D. Pankey, Pete Dawson, Alvin Fillastre, and Mike Schuster. He received a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1988 and is a member of the ADA, American Equilibration Society, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Pankey Alumni Association. He has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 1988, and was accredited in 1992. In 1995, Dr. Malone was asked to become a member of the Accreditation Board of Examiners of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and went on to become an Appeals Examiner for the A.B.O.E. After serving four years on the Board of Directors of the AACD, Dr. Malone was elected President for 2003-04.
In addition, he is on the advisory committee and is a clinical instructor and featured presenter in the Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum offered by the C. E. Department of LSU School of Dentistry. He is a published author in leading journals and speaks internationally on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Malone maintains a full-time dental practice limited to cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry in Lafayette, LA.
